So let me start off by saying this 50g wire is rediculous thin. I can't imagine working with thinner, but I'm sure I will eventually. Using this to make any kind of clapton wire requires a sensei level of focus and patience. If you can use 40-42g just fine and you're looking for a challenge this give this a try. But be warned that this stuff might make you want to chunk stuff across the room. Haha

Wire is top quality just the spools need some work they need to put a hole in them to be able to trap the end in and not have to poke a hole in it or tape it, I was poking a hole in my spool of 44 and barely touched the wire and basically lost half the spool very upset over that!

I'll preface this by saying it is my first time using Ni80, but the difference between this and Kanthal is like night and day. I got the 46g I have mainly been using it for fused clapton around 2 strands of 26g Ni80. I've barely had to work out hot spots with it and the vape is incredible. Kind of a cooler vape and flavor is great. Only con I would say is you go through the wire pretty quick and it takes some time when wrapping it to get some usable wire, even when going as fast as you can. Next on the list for me is 1000ft of 42g.

These high-gauge Nichrome80 spools are much like the other spools I've purchased from KP. The wire comes off the spool smoothly, is packaged well, and the actual wire is top notch (Sandvik wire always is). If I had to find one negative, it would be that the higher gauges aren't available in smaller quantities, like a 100' or even 250' spool, but the fact that KP even carries this wire negates that lone complaint of mine. Before now, the only other place in the US to get higher gauge wire was from TwistedMesses.com, and they charge exactly double for all their wire what KP and other vendors charge, so I'm stoked to see these gauges available here. Now, if we could only get you guys on the ball with regards to keeping your .3 ribbon in stock, we'd be in business ;)
